My wife and I were married later in life—she at 36 and I at 38. During our single years, the Lord allowed both of us to be actively involved in mission work, preparing our hearts for future service.
Around 2014, God placed a specific burden on my heart for Christian radio ministry. As we sought the Lord’s direction, He led us to move to Neosho, Missouri, where we prayerfully waited for His guidance regarding where He wanted us to labor.
During a back-to-school revival at Ozark Bible Institute, the Lord clearly impressed Auckland, New Zealand upon my heart. In obedience to that calling, we took our first survey trip to New Zealand in 2015, followed by a second visit in 2017. Then, in 2022, God opened the door for us to move to New Zealand, where we lived and served for two and a half years.
Now more than ever, we see the desperate need for the Gospel in this land. New Zealand is one of the most secular societies in the world today. The Auckland area alone is home to over 220 people groups, representing a vast array of cultures and religions.
We humbly ask you to pray with us—that God would open hearts, give us wisdom, and allow us to reach souls for Christ. We are deeply thankful for the Lord’s faithful provision and guidance as we continue striving to fulfill His call upon our lives.
