THANK YOU
We want to say thank you to all who have faithfully supported us through your prayers and financial giving. You will never know what a blessing you have been to us. We pray that the Lord will abundantly bless you for your prayers and sacrificial giving.
Also, we mentioned earlier that we were needing to find a house. Praise the Lord we have found one and will be moving in at the first of November. Thank you for praying for us in this matter.
PRAYER REQUEST
In an earlier post we mentioned Gabby, who has told her friend Julia about Jesus. Julia is from a Buddhist family. Gabby’s mother has invited Julia’s mother to the children’s Bible class that we have at our house. She is not open to sending her children to it. Please help us pray that the Lord will change her heart and that she will want her children to learn more about Christ.
Shawn has been diagnosed with a severe case of H Pylori bacteria in his stomach. He completed a 14 day antibiotic treatment for it. Since then he has still had some issues with it. Please pray the Lord will give him a complete healing.
VISITING A NEIGHBOR

Reitha and the girls visited Sylvia, an 89 year old neighbor, who lives down the street from us. She was raised a Christian, but is not a Christian now. We are praying for her and hoping something that we said or the songs that were sung ministered to her heart. Please help us pray for her that she will turn her heart to the truth.
NURSING HOME MINISTRY

STREET OUTREACH

Please pray for the youth of New Zealand. Many of them are resistant to the Christianity. It seems that this is a result of many parents having an atheistic mindset. Reitha was approached by a mother telling her not to give her children this literature. Pray as well for the parents that the Lord will soften their hearts to their children the truth of God’s Word.

ETHIOPIAN SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS

BIBLE STUDY
A new couple, John and Rhica, came to the Bible study this month. Their two daughters have come faithfully to the Bible class for the past 11 months. It is a definite answer to prayer that they came. In the lesson we talked about divorce and how devastating it is. After the class John was talking to Reitha about how his parents divorced when he was 8. He began crying and said it is still painful for him. We pray that they will continue to come and that the Lord will work in their lives.

CHILDREN’S BIBLE CLASS
We are thankful that two new children came to the Bible class this month. Many of the parents as well as some grandparents are coming also. This is a great encouragement to us!

GAME NIGHT WITH THE YOUTH
We had the young people from Bible class over for a game night. We did not realize it was going to go in the direction it did. Some of them began asking questions about Heaven and other spiritual things. We asked them if they would be interested in starting a youth Bible study night. They all said they would like to have one. Some of them are wanting to invite other young people as well. So grateful for their desire to learn more about the Lord.

Eunice, one of the girls that comes to Bible class had a Birthday party. Her mother invited us to come and asked Reitha to pray a blessing over her. Reitha used the opportunity to read Jeremiah 29:11. She encouraged her to always put God first in her life and told her that God has great plans for her. We are thankful the Lord has given us these opportunities to lead these young people in the ways of the Lord.
