Sharei has had a problem for the last couple years where she would wake up in the middle of the night throwing up. Since we have been in New Zealand it seems that the problem has gotten worse. It got to the point it was happening frequently. We took her to the doctor back in December and they diagnosed here with abdominal migraines. We had a couple people help us pray for her at the end of December and she has not had another episode related to this problem since then. We believe the Lord has healed her. Praise His name!
In a post back in September, we mentioned Sanju, a lady that volunteers at the food bank we work at. Her brother, Prashant, had cut part of his finger off with a saw. They sewed his finger back on, but they thought they were going to have to remove it again. We told her we would be praying for him. Since then we have been hearing good reports. He was able to keep the finger, and the feeling has even returned. This is truly an answer to prayer. He is Hindu and his wife is Muslim. They have a son that is around 7 or 8, he is paralyzed from the waist down. The Lord has burdened our hearts to fast and pray that he would be healed, and his family would be saved through it. We are planning to take them a meal at the end of the month. We covet your prayers concerning this situation, that God would do a great miracle for this family!
