CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRY.
At the end of December and beginning of January, Emmanuel Evangelical Church (The Ethiopian church that has helped us with our visa) was having a three day conference. The pastor asked us to help with the children and youth ministries. Shawn was able to teach the youth class each night of the conference. Over the course of the three days Reitha taught the children the story of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. 35 to 40 children attended the class. She asked the children if they wanted to give their lives to the Lord, and many responded and prayed the prayer of salvation. We are so thankful how the Lord ministered in their lives!
CHILDREN’S BIBLE CLASS
Some of the girls that come to the Bible class invited a friend, Terrance, to come to the class. At the end of the class Reitha asked the children if they would like to give their heart to the Lord, Terrance raised his hand. We gave the Children a Bible reading schedule to read through the New Testament in six months. One of the mothers said her daughter has already read through the book of Matthew. She told her mother, she feels peace when she reads the Bible. Praise God for the work He is doing in the lives of the Children. We are supposed to have more children come to the class in February, please help us pray that the Lord will draw them to salvation.
STREET MINISTRY.
Here in New Zealand it is legal to place things in mail boxes as long as they do not have a no circulars sign on them. The other day while we were driving through the country we stopped and dropped some tracts into some mailboxes along the road.
