NEIGHBORHOOD OUTREACH
We did more outreach in the neighborhood around our home in February. Some of the children from the Bible class helped with baking Valentine cookies. We passed them out along with a letter about the end times referring to Matthew 24. There have been a couple small earthquakes that have hit here recently. There has also been major flooding that affected over 5,000 homes in the Auckland area, then two weeks later Cyclone Gabrielle hit causing over one billion dollars in damage. We are praying that people will be shaken and stirred by these events that are happening.
BIBLE DISTRIBUTION
We were able to help assist some friends with distributing New Testaments at a local middle school. Altogether almost 600 New Testaments were given out. Previously, as we have given tracts many young people have had a negative response toward Christianity. Laughing, mocking, and tearing up tracts. We are thankful the response was a lot better this time. As we give the Word of God out, we stand on God’s promise that, “His Word will not return void.” Who knows what impact His Word will have in the life of these children.
NURSING HOME MINISTRY
This month the girls were able to go with their ukulele teacher and her husband to several nursing home services. The residents enjoyed their playing and singing. They always asked if the girls were going to return the following week.
