April Update

RADIO MINISTRY

Praise the Lord we finally got the radio broadcast going in April. We are currently broadcasting on an FM frequency in our area and will be broadcasting as an online radio station in the near future as well. The FM broadcast is reaching a 3 mile radius around our home. As you can see from the picture, housing is very dense in our area, there are over 170 houses and apartments on our street alone. We have the potential to reach hundreds of homes and thousands of people in this area. We are believing that many lives will be affected by the ministry of this radio station.

CHILDREN’S BIBLE CLASS

We had to do our Bible class in two sessions this month, because some of the children were not going to be able to come at the normal scheduled time. We had two new families come this time, including the grandparents of one of the families. We had a total of 17 attend the classes, not including our family. After the class one of the fathers text us thanking us for the class. He said, “My kids learned, and I did too”. We were talking to a couple of the mothers from the class, and one told us she had been looking to find Bible teaching for her Children. The other mother told us we were an answer to prayer. She had been praying about someone to teach her girls about the Lord. We praise the Lord for the people that He has given to us to minister to. Please pray with us that more children will come to the class.

YOUTH CHOIR

We are thankful that God has opened this door for us to work with the youth from the Ethiopian church. The choir sang for the first time on the Sunday the Ethiopians celebrate Easter. We are so proud of them; they did a great job! Different ones commented on how powerful the songs were.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY

We had to do the Bible study in two sessions like we did the children’s Bible class because one of the ladies could not come at the regular time. The presence of the Lord came down in a special way as we taught about the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.
