Recently one Friday night we were out on the street evangelizing. We had just set up our table with tracts, Reitha and the girls were singing. A man came up and asked us if we needed something (people will often go out on the streets and sing for money). We told him we don’t need anything. We have something to give you. We gave him a tract and began talking to him about the Lord. We asked him if we could give him a Bible. He took one and said what do I have to give you for it. We told him that someone had given them to us to give us away. We asked what his name was, he said it is Joseph. We said that is a good name, have you heard the story of Joseph in the Bible? He pointed at the Bible and said I guess I will find out about it. Pray for Joseph that the Word of God will draw him to Christ.
Also that evening a young man passed by us and we tried to give him a tract, but he would not take it. Later he came by us again and came up to us and asked what this was all about. We began to witness to him and gave him a tract. He said he had been to church a couple times with relatives, and he liked what he felt there. We are praying that God will save this young man.
